Essex - London, Monday 3rd October

We said our goodbyes to Ian and Alison and left for London, arriving around midday.  Lunch in Dean Street and then we headed off to Savile Row, where Tobes worked (at Huntsman) before he came to Australia.  We called in to see his old colleague, Richard Anderson, who now has his own showroom and for Tobes to get measured up for a new jacket, which he's a bit happy about!

The girls and I left Tobes and Richard to catch up, while we went to Hamleys to check out 6 levels of toys.  We came away with a some small bits and pieces, and Ava bought herself a fluffy lamb - putting it constantly (at great amusement to her and all of us) into her first ever lamb's rigamortis pose.....!!! Clearly scarred!!

The girls and I then went to Hyde Park to meet up with my old friend Paolo Novak, from Milan days 20 years ago - the girls chased squirrels for a while and then we left to meet up with Tobes and Paolo's girlfriend Alessandra at a pub nearby and dinner before heading home.
