Firenze - Saturday, 17th Sept

Big, big day today.  Just the girls and I, which was a lot of fun, so we had plenty of time to wander around the streets of Florence at our own pace (slow), have a lazy lunch, more gelato and a bit of shopping.....bags are bursting at the seams already, with just over three weeks to go!  Cloudy’s snow dome collection a great idea in theory, however Torino and Bologna have now broken – not hugely successful!
Pops got very excited as we walked down the main shopping strip – Gucci, Prada, stopping at length in front of each, pleading with me for heels, belts, bags, anything that might remotely fit her.
We did a quick, touristy trip around the centre by horse and carriage, which I have to admit was enjoyed by all three of us.  Then after a lot more walking, a quick (major) haircut for me and break from walking for all of us, we headed back to the hotel for a rest from the heat and to do our blog, diaries, homework, etc.
Now we are about to go out for an early dinner and a quiet night, ready for a 9:00am departure for Napoli!
Many more photos on facebook....
