Rome - Sunday, 25th September

Late start this morning and then off to the Pantheon again quickly and then to the Colosseum, which was fantastic.  Claudia loving all things old - we had a good look around and then off to La Taverna Dei Quaranta in Via Claudia with friends, Violante and Andrea plus babes, for lunch.

We said our final goodbyes to them, and headed back to the hotel briefly before going over to P's and Fedes for a catch up and dinner.  Lots of fun - we have really, really loved Rome, and I have loved our hotel and its location in Via Della Pace.  The girls are becoming seasoned travellers and Tobes managed to get through the whole day (bit of a battle towards the end!) without falling asleep.  Tomorrow we are off to Venice for three nights, and to catch up with Tobe's sister Laura (Lu) and her husband Martin (Spider), as well as the lovely Jayne Dowd and her boys on Tuesday, and Carlo and Claudia who are coming across from Milano for the day on Wednesday. Looking forward to all of it.
