Claudia discovered Snails on the menu of the (perfect) restaurant we found for lunch, just up from our Hotel - and I suggested that seeing as they both made me go to the very top of the Eiffel Tower (never been so terrified in my life and NEVER would have done it, if I'd been able to send them up there by themselves) that it was only fair they ate Escargot in Paris.
Surprisingly, Claudia was really pretty happy with the idea, though her reaction nearly put Ava off completely and the waiter had to come over to give her a bit of added encouragement!
So we all ended up pretty happy with ourselves - me, that I actually went to the top of the Eiffel Tower, and the girls, that they can say they've eaten snails in France!
